• User Content: We store posts, comments, local event listings, job postings, resumes, and short-form video reels that you choose to publish on the platform.
• Location Information: Because Jodhpur Connect is a locally-rooted platform, the App may request access to your device's geographical location to filter neighborhood posts and showcase nearby job opportunities. This is only collected with your explicit permission.
• Device & Usage Info: We automatically collect details such as your device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, and application activity logs to ensure optimal performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for various administrative and service-oriented purposes, including to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Jodhpur Connect mobile community.
• Filter and display regional posts, community reels, local job openings, and events tailored to your area.
• Moderate community content, enforce our safety guidelines, and verify user profiles to avoid spam and fraud.
• Respond to support queries and send administrative updates.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

Jodhpur Connect does not sell your personal data. We only share information under the following limited conditions:

• Public Forum Access: Any posts, comments, public events, or reels you create are visible to all members of the Jodhpur Connect community. Please do not share private contact details in public posts.
• Service Providers: We work with trusted third-party providers (such as Google Play Services, Expo, and hosting providers) who assist in app delivery, push notifications, and server infrastructure. These parties are contractually bound to safeguard your data.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by local laws or in response to valid requests by public authorities in India.

4. Data Deletion and Account Deactivation

We believe in giving you complete control over your personal data. You can manage or delete your information as follows:

• Profile Edits: You can edit your profile details directly from the Profile tab in the App.
• Post Deletion: You can delete any post, comment, or reel you have posted. Once deleted, it will immediately disappear from other users' feeds.
• Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account directly through the Settings screen in the App. Alternatively, you can send an email request to our support desk at support@jodhpurconnect.com. Upon receiving your request, we will permanently purge your profile, posts, resumes, and uploaded media from our active servers within 7 business days.

5. Children's Privacy

Our services are not designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately, and we will take steps to remove it.

6. Security of Your Information

We implement standard technical and organizational security measures (such as SSL encryption and hashed passwords) to protect your personal details from unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. However, no database over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure.
