Welcome to Jodhpur Connect. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application (the “App”), our website jodhpurconnect.com (the “Site”), and any associated services (collectively, the “Services”).

By downloading the App, registering an account, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not download, install, or use the Services.

1. User Eligibility and Registration

To use Jodhpur Connect, you must meet the following criteria:

• You must be at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the Services.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete profile information during registration.
• You are responsible for protecting access to your Google or Apple account and for activity that occurs through your Jodhpur Connect account.

2. Community Safety & Code of Conduct

Jodhpur Connect is a friendly and respectful space for local discussions. You agree NOT to upload, post, or share any content that:

• Is illegal, defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, or invasive of another person’s privacy.
• Promotes hate speech, violence, discrimination, or bigotry based on race, religion, gender, caste, or regional origin.
• Contains sexually explicit material, graphic violence, or promotes illegal drugs/substances.
• Infringes on the intellectual property, copyright, or trademark rights of any third party.
• Consists of unauthorized marketing, commercial spam, or phishing links.

We actively moderate community posts. Jodhpur Connect administrators reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to remove any user content or suspend/terminate accounts that violate this Code of Conduct.

3. Job Postings and Event Listings Disclaimer

Jodhpur Connect provides a digital bulletin board for local job postings and events. Please review the following safety disclaimers carefully:

• Job Listings: Employer posting access is manually reviewed using the organization details supplied in the request, but approval is not identity, licence, GST, PAN, employment, or safety verification and is not an endorsement. Users must perform their own due diligence before accepting employment, sharing sensitive documents, paying money, or attending interviews. Jodhpur Connect does not charge applicants to apply for jobs.
• Events Listing: We do not screen local organizers or guarantee the safety and security of public events. Always exercise appropriate safety precautions when attending meetups or events organized by other users on the platform.

4. User Content License

You retain ownership of any posts, comments, photos, resumes, and reels you submit to Jodhpur Connect. However, by uploading content, you grant Jodhpur Connect a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content to other users on the platform as part of our community feed.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All logos, user interface designs, custom graphics, slogans, and codebase relating to the App and Site remain the exclusive property of Jodhpur Connect and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any portion of our software or branding without explicit written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. Jodhpur Connect makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jodhpur Connect, its developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform or interactions with other users.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, disputes arising under these Terms shall be handled by courts of competent jurisdiction in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India.

8. Term Changes and Notifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make updates, we will adjust the “Effective” date at the top of this document. Continued use of the Services after terms have changed constitutes your agreement to the new Terms.
